A college degree requires planning, careful decision making, and a commitment from both you and your family. We believe students from all economic backgrounds should have the opportunity to attend the University of Washington Bothell, and finances should not be a barrier.
College can be expensive. However, there are millions of dollars worth of scholarships that are given out to college going students every year. UW Bothell wants to reward students who have been successful in school and help you fund your education.
Husky Promise is our guarantee to Washington state students that we will not let financial challenges stand in the way of achieving a UW degree. If students are admitted to UW Bothell and qualify for the Husky Promise, we promise to pay their tuition.
If you are a student who is not a legal permanent resident, does not possess a green card, visa, or other legal documentation (including those born outside of the United States), and have lived in this country for a significant portion of your life and reside here without the legal permission of the government, we want to help you.
